Today we had the absolute pleasure of delivering Patricia and BaSean’s finished wedding painting.  We ship paintings across the country on a regular basis, but when schedules align, it means the world to us to be able to deliver a finished painting in person.  We were invited to paint for the Grand Opening event, for Atlanta’s new development, Avalon (A mixed-use development that includes luxe shopping, dining, and living!)  Since we were already in the Atlanta area, we thought it would be great to connect with BaSean and Patricia to deliver their painting!  There is nothing better than hearing that the painting was one of their favorite wedding details – and honestly, it’s so humbling.  From the beginning it has been so wonderful getting to know Patricia, who surprised BaSean with the live wedding painting!  Their August wedding reception was held in the rotunda of Atlanta’s Fernbank Museum of Natural History.  And oh my was it a party, hosting nearly 300 guests!  The Fernbank is such a grand venue, one that in it’s vast openness you feel as though you are part of something so timeless.  It was honestly a very powerful moment as I watched Ben lay down the first brushstrokes, sketching the rotunda.  Monica of Extraordinaire Affairs put together such a fresh floorplan that was so unique as the tables were set under and around the colossal dinosaurs!  With a vibrant color palette of royal blue and orange, the details came together beautifully.  The floral team of Perfect Creations and Designs arranged centerpieces that created a canopy-like feel over each table.  Even the smallest of details were breathtaking … little things like the Sapphire Champagne glasses!  The reception was nothing short of absolutely glamorous!  With details like these, it’s not hard to make a beautiful painting!
