When it comes to a classic, low country weddings here in downtown Charleston, The William Aiken House is one of our favorite wedding venues! What a joy it was to capture Sara and Brad’s Charleston wedding on a perfect May day! The weather was just lovely for their outdoor celebration. Lauren of Fox Events coordinated and designed the day in such a fresh, creative way! We were so excited that Sara chose to mix-it-up and have the first dance on the front lawn of the property. This meant that Ben was able to capture the historic William Aiken House in the background of the painting! Guests enjoyed a tented ceremony followed by dancing under twinkling lights and music by Charleston’s Ben Fagan and the Holy City Hooligans. What a perfect first dance to capture on canvas! Cheers to these sweet newlyweds!
