I first met Laurie when she was shopping for her wedding gown at Modern Trousseau. We worked together to design her own gown, perfect for a Charleston wedding set in December! It was then that her mother asked about Ben’s work and a week before the wedding, insisted on hiring Ben to paint live at Laurie’s reception! It was a beautiful experience to be part of Laurie and Keith’s wedding day with first the gown, and then the painting! Ben was thrilled to have the opportunity to paint inside The Charleston Place Hotel as it is an iconic landmark here in Charleston.
