As locals to Charleston, Ashley and Blake’s wedding day was overflowing with chic Lowcountry style with a pop of prep. Their ceremony and reception were both held at Charleston’s iconic Lowndes Grove Plantation, tucked away on the upper Peninsula. Lilly Pulitzer herself would have approved of everything from their color palette to the gold pineapple table accents. One of the most unforgettable moments was when Ashley and her father arrived in a horse drawn carriage, just before walking down the aisle. (Every girl’s DREAM!) Ashley and Blake commissioned Ben to capture their ceremony overlooking the gorgeous coastal landscape of the Ashley River. Following the ceremony, Ben relocated under the tented reception to continue painting for guests to enjoy. Needless to say, we are so pleased to share their finished live wedding painting!
