This Magnolia Plantation wedding was a dream for Ben to capture as a Charleston Live Wedding Painter! From incredible low country waterfront view to the beautiful florals overflowing in every direction to the fresh and innovative touches. Every detail from Lauren and Brandon’s wedding was a dream to paint!

The Carriage House is tucked away on the waterfront side of Magnolia Plantation. With an indoor space for receptions, it’s perfect for couples wanting a Charleston wedding venue with a view, and also an escape from the summer heat! Another reason we love the Carriage House is the gorgeous lawn overlooking the water for ceremonies and cocktail hours!

A Magnolia Plantation Wedding Painting created from a fresh perspective under the Live Oaks

Having painted live wedding paintings at Magnolia Plantation so many times, Ben is very familiar with the property. Lauren shared with us that they were going to have their ceremony take place in front of “the big Live Oak tree.” There are sooo many stunning Live Oak trees at Magnolia Plantation! During our Creative Call, we spent about 10 minutes finding the exact tree to be sure we were talking about the same view! And funny enough, it was a tree Ben had not yet painted!

It’s always inspiring to paint something new! Lauren and Brandon’s ceremony there on the lawn, under the canopy of the Live Oaks was just such a beautiful moment to capture in their live painting! Switching it up with a unique ceremony location was so inspiring for Ben!

Mod Events created the most unforgettable wedding experience and it was quite possibly the most beautiful Magnolia Plantation wedding we’ve ever seen! Hands down, one of our favorite details was their creative (and beautiful!) seating installation. Say goodbye to a seating chart, Lauren and Brandon had a gorgeous wall of flowers with garden tags for each guest to “Pick your seat!”
