A Full Circle Breakers Wedding in the Circle Ballroom
It seems like just yesterday Ben and I arrived in Palm Beach to his very first Breakers Wedding. And what’s crazy: that was almost TEN years ago! Since then, Ben has had the honor to capture so many extraordinary Palm Beach Weddings at The Breakers. But that first one, Tara and Chad’s wedding, will forever hold a special place in our hearts and adds a sentimental layer of meaning to the painting we are unveiling today! Fast forward … ten years … and Tara’s sister Shayna is engaged and planning for her own Breakers wedding! Carrying on the family tradition, Shayna thought it would be special to have Ben capture her own wedding with a live painting!
Being part of another wedding with this family meant the world! And the icing on the cake: it was out of this world stunning! Which was no surprise, because Tara and Chad’s was also breathtaking!
The Live Wedding Painting Details
Shayna and Alex held their ceremony inside the Circle Ballroom of The Breakers Resort. This incredible ballroom has an ornate dome ceiling and an almost 360 view of the ocean. I would venture to write, there’s no ballroom quite like this in the United States! We were beyond excited to collaborate with the fabulous Palm Beach wedding planner, Kym Bichon Events. Kym was formerly a director of events at The Breakers (and was there for Tara and Chad’s wedding!). She knows this property like the back of her hand!
Given the uniqueness of the Circle Ballroom, Shayna and Alex arranged the ceremony with circular seating around their Chuppah. The Chuppah was overflowing with florals from top to bottom, creating the most beautiful centerpiece in the room.
We were thrilled Shayna and Alex chose to have their ceremony as the backdrop for their live wedding painting. It was truly breathtaking! And their dip kiss is what a Breakers Wedding day is made for!
