Ashley and Michael’s Seabrook Island Club Wedding was one for the books!! As we say goodbye to our summer days … we are still reminiscing our first wedding at the Seabrook Island Club this year! Ashley and Michael’s wedding day was an absolute dream for Ben to paint! We love that they chose their beachfront ceremony as the subject for their live wedding painting!
The Seabrook Island Club is a gem of a wedding venue here in Charleston, SC! This is because it’s so hard to find venues that are on the beach … but not on the beach! We love that Seabrook Island Club has such a unique ceremony setup, sans the sand! The patio area is perfect for couples looking for an elevated Charleston beach wedding!

Fun Fact: Outer Banks Fans might recognize the Seabrook Island Club!
Charleston has been chosen as the backdrop for many movies and shows over the years. It’s no wonder the Netflix show Outer Banks chose the beautiful Seabrook Island Club as one of the locations for several scenes in Season 2! Fans might recognize it’s where JJ worked. And we are 99% sure there are several beach party scenes filmed here, too! The low-country southern charm and beach fit so perfectly with the theme of the show. Ben and I often say that life in Charleston can feel like a movie – and weddings at Seabrook Island Club make that feel all the more true!
