Let’s talk about cocktail hour on the terrace – the perfect start to a Daniel Island Club reception! If you’ve ever dreamed of clinking champagne glasses as the sun sets over a perfectly manicured golf course overlooking the marsh. Guests arrive in their stunning dresses and suits, the golden glow casts just the right kind of light, and the entire evening feels effortless. It’s everything a Charleston wedding should be. And with a live wedding painter capturing the bride and groom in the middle of it all? Pure magic.
Lauren and Nick planned for their husband and wife portraits along the marsh. This moment made for the perfect backdrop for their live wedding painting, too! Rather than the tradition view that’s directly behind the Clubhouse, they chose one of their favorite views from one of the holes off to the side of the club! This view included the golf course and the marsh with the gorgeous sunset in the sky!

The lush greens, the way the light lingers just a little longer, the low country marsh view—it all came together to create a moment that’s both timeless and so perfectly represents Lauren and Nick’s Daniel Island Wedding Day.
