A Live Wedding Painting at Christmas in New York City
Colleen and Paul’s Lotte New York Palace Wedding was like something straight out of a Christmas movie. It was so perfectly “Christmas in New York” … but let’s make it a wedding! A dreamy winter wedding in the heart of Manhattan … Colleen and Paul’s wedding day felt like we were stepping into a movie!
Let’s start from the beginning. These two chose the most iconic wedding venue: Lotte New York Palace Hotel. You’ve seen the iconic Christmas tree in their courtyard as you’re strolling to go ice skating there at Rockefeller Plaza.
Colleen wore a custom gown designed by Modern Trousseau that was complete with the most gorgeous bow back and topped with a high pony tail! Fun fact: I (Jen) used to work for Modern Trousseau and oh how I miss tying all those bows! But the best part: Colleen had a matching dress created for their pup! The ballroom was just out of this world shimmering and so romantic! An absolute dream NYC wedding reception! Ben was so inspired by the florals and gorgeous chandeliers. As a New York Live Wedding painter, it just doesn’t get prettier or more iconic than this!! Needles to say, we’re thrilled to unveil their finished live wedding painting from their Lotte New York Palace Wedding!
