And year after year, we fall more in love with this magical property that’s tucked away downtown and overlooks a gorgeous low-country marsh view. There’s nothing like the experience of listening to a live band, sipping champagne, and watching two people promise forever together as the sun sets over the water.

We are also obsessed with this Reception with Dinner View idea for a Lowndes Grove Live Wedding Painting! We loved how this couple chose their reception with the house in the backdrop for their live wedding painting. They were most excited about their innovative event design for the dinner portion of the event. The dinner space included an open-air “tent” that was custom built and installed over their dinner seating. Guests dinned alfresco in front of the Lowndes Grove house on one side, and water on the other! We loved how their live painting came together. Choosing a styled moment of the reception as their guests enjoyed their evening dinner was a beautiful idea.
