From the first Greenbrier Chapel wedding to now – the inspiration is never ending!
As a live wedding painter, Ben has been so lucky to create so many Greenbrier Chapel wedding paintings over the years! Our very first wedding at The Greenbrier was the debut of this very Chapel for their very first bride! (Fun fact, the owner of the Greenbrier built the chapel for his daughter’s wedding! You can view Jill and Adam’s live wedding painting here!)
There are truly not enough words to describe how incredibly magical The Greenbrier Chapel is … and especially for a wedding!
And it’s true: A chapel as beautiful as this one can be painted again and again. With each wedding painting here, he finds it even more inspiring! It’s like there’s no end to the level of detail in the architecture and design. With each live wedding painting at The Greenbrier Chapel, Ben discovers new details! And that was absolutely the case for Alexis and Zach’s live wedding painting!
Alexis and Zach’s Greenbrier Chapel Wedding Painting focuses in on their vows during the ceremony
Working with Alexis and Zach was such a dream as we planned for their live wedding painting. It was an easy decision for Alexis to choose their ceremony moment as their subject. What makes their live painting unique is that Ben composed the painting so that it begins from the altar, almost like a zoomed in perspective. We love that the finished result of this painting makes it truly about them. The intimacy of this moment is what their wedding day was all about!
One of the details we love most in their live painting is Alexis’ gown. The way Ben painted her veil so soft and sheer and her gown cascading down the steps is just a dream. The chandeliers and the stained glass with the exposed wooden beams are also what make this wedding painting so, so beautiful.
We are so excited to share Alexis and Zach’s finished painting! Ben is beyond proud of how their painting came together. What an absolute honor to be chosen as their Live Wedding Painter!
