Douglas Ellington was an architect in Asheville that also built First Baptist Church and Asheville High School. The story goes that he used recycled materials to create and design, giving it an eclectic and whimsical feel.
Deanna and Sunny held their ceremony and reception on the property, and it was a dream! As their Asheville Live Wedding Painter, Ben loved capturing a styled portrait of just the two of them for their live wedding painting. With the charming staircase and the Douglas Ellington Home sitting in the backdrop, it was the perfect way to capture the beauty of their celebration!
