When it comes to a live wedding painting, Charleston, SC sure does have the most beautiful landscapes! Beth and Jacob chose to get married at Beth’s childhood home, right here in Charleston! That’s right: the view you see in the painting was the actual driveway to their home.

Beth’s family property is absolutely breathtaking. There’s always such an incredible layer of meaning to a wedding is also located on family property! And oh my goodness, it’s a bonus when the views are also incredible!
We love that Beth and Jacob wanted to capture just the two of them and their beloved pups, under the avenue of Live Oaks! And how adorable are the dogs’ flower collar and bow tie!! Ben loved painting this sweet celebratory moment for their live wedding painting. Charleston is ever inspiring to us!
The gift of gathering
Due to the pandemic, Beth and Jacob chose to scale back their guest size and opted for a smaller, more intimate gathering. If we learned anything during the pandemic, it’s that gathering is a gift! Our hearts were with pandemic couples like Beth and Jacob that had to make very hard decisions. Though their wedding day looked different than I’m sure they originally envisioned … it was beyond beautiful and truly special!
