They say it’s lucky when it rains on your wedding day! And in this cake, Carolina and Jacob were one of the lucky ones. Their rain plan resulted in their ceremony taking place over on the dock of the Cotton Dock at Charleston’s historic Boone Hall Plantation. We just love that they had the gorgeous waterfront marsh view for their ceremony, followed by an evening of dinner and dancing inside. Ben was so excited to capture their first dance for their live painting … including that waterfront view as well as their charming decor. The Cotton Dock was just so romantic, with the candelabras, chandeliers, and twinkle lights. It was an absolute perfect Charleston wedding day! We’re so excited to share their finished live wedding painting!
