Edward Hopper’s quote so perfectly fits when we think about Shilpa and Keshav’s Charleston South Asian Wedding Painting at Middleton Place! 2020 taught us so much about gratitude. We were lucky to have a front seat role in capturing life’s sweetest and, at times, also the most difficult moments. With tears in our eyes, Shipla + Keshav’s wedding was one of the absolute most beautiful weddings to come out of 2020.
Without sharing too many details, Shilpa and Keshav for safety of family, opted for a more intimate wedding with just family. By having a more intimate wedding, their wedding was rich in detail, bespoke, and truly thoughtful in every way. This wedding day meant so much to this family, and sometimes, there’s just not words to describe how special that is to us.

It’s no surprise that Shilpa and Keshav’s wedding was featured over on the fabulous Over the Moon blog! Hands down, their wedding day was one of the most beautiful we’ve ever been part of. Ben could have created a painting from every moment of the day … and it would be have made a beautiful painting!
Lindsey Boyce Design was the brilliant creator behind the design and planning for their wedding weekend. She used the canopy of the Live Oak tree to create the most beautiful Mandap. Lindsey has incredibly innovative style that’s just perfect.
Loluma and Gathering Events designed the florals, installing hanging flowers from the magnificent tree. Together, they created the most creative circular floral arrangement for the stage. (Gathering Events and Loluma are both the go to in town for Charleston South Asian Weddings.) Ben loved painting every detail of this ceremony moment!
Each and every detail was bespoke … impeccable design layered with sentimental details. And we couldn’t get enough of the images created by Rachel Red Photography and their wedding film by our dear friend Drew at Dock House Digital! Our hearts are so full!
We will cherish this family, their incredible Charleston South Asian Wedding, and their live wedding painting for a lifetime.
