Caroline and Michael’s wedding at The Cloister at Sea Island was nothing short of magical. Ben was so honored to have been asked to create a live wedding painting of their beautiful ceremony. As a wedding planner at Sea Island herself, Caroline’s impeccable taste and attention to detail made her own wedding a truly unforgettable event.
The Cloister at Sea Island is a dream wedding venue, with its Old-World architecture, lush gardens, and stunning views of the Georgia coastline. The venue alone provides a breathtaking backdrop, but what truly made the day shine was the warmth, laughter, and love that radiated from Caroline and Michael and their guests. We love that it was finally her turn to walk down the aisle!
Their Live Wedding Painting was actually a gift to Caroline and Michael from Caroline’s fellow wedding planner at Sea Island, Caroline! (Two Carolines!) We’ve been working with Caroline for years and love that she thought of gifting Caroline and Michael this sweet gift that they will have forever! Making their day even more special is the fun fact that: Ben’s first out-of-state live painting ever was a Sea Island wedding!
The Cloister at Sea Island: A Wedding Venue Like No Other
As a planner at Sea Island, Caroline knows exactly what makes The Cloister such a special place for a wedding. Caroline decided to have Ben capture a ceremony moment, their first kiss, as the subject for their live wedding painting. This view captured the Spanish Tiles and beautiful architecture, the Live Oaks dripping with Spanish Moss, and their incredible floral installation!
As a planner, Caroline brought her signature style to her own event, curating a day that was both elegant and deeply personal. Every single detail was fresh and just so, so, so beautiful! From the florals to the linens, every detail was thoughtfully planned. The truth is, Ben could have created a gorgeous painting from every moment of their celebration!
We are so excited for Carolina and Michael to find the perfect place to style their painting in their home! Their Cloister at Sea Island wedding was such an incredible celebration, and we love that they will have this painting for a lifetime to come!
