This sweet couple’s Creek Club I’ON wedding in Charleston, SC, forever holds a place in our hearts as the first wedding Ben painted live and I (Jen) photographed! It was quite surreal for us to both be creating for the same couple. From our first call with Catherine, it was like we had been friends our entire lives.
When the gown inspires the live painting …
Catherine said YES! to the dress, and at that exact moment, she knew what she wanted to have Ben capture for their live painting: The first dance! We always love hearing how couples land on the moment for their live painting. Sometimes it’s having family or the beautiful landscape view. For Catherine, that moment was clear when she tried on her gown and envisioned the soft, flowing movement during their first dance. And her gown was indeed a dream!

The florals were so beautiful, and the sunset was breathtaking, but the most beautiful part of their day was the tangible love that filled the space. Two incredible people surrounded by their closest friends and family as they danced the night away … we live for the joy of capturing these moments!
