A surprise live painting gift from their Early Mountain Vineyards wedding ceremony!
The best part about this painting: Mike’s wedding day gift to Grace was Ben as surprise live wedding painter! He wanted something thoughtful. But also something unique! And most of all, a piece that she would have forever! Needless to say, we loved being party of this incredible surprise to her!
Before the wedding, we worked with Mike and the Early Mountain Vineyards wedding team behind the scenes to plan for the creative details for the painting. Mike knew he wanted the painting to focus on just the two of them. The ceremony made the most sense as the subject of the painting. So as a result, Mike chose their first kiss (with a dip!) with the incredible mountain view.
To include the wedding party in the live painting is a tough question when there’s a ceremony view like the one from Early Mountain Vineyards!
When the wedding ceremony view is as breathtaking as the one here at Early Mountain Vineyards, we totally understand why couples will decide to omit their wedding party from the live painting. In many cases where there is a gorgeous landscape view, the wedding party standing will actually block the view. And if we are completely candid: it’s the view from Early Mountain Vineyards that’s usually the inspiration to have a wedding here! When couples are stuck on this decision, Ben and I will often encourage them to consider thinking 20, 30, 40 years from now. Ask the question: will you wish you had the view or the wedding party as the focal point. Most couples will naturally lean one direction over the other! The truth is, you can’t go wrong either way!
