Ben has painted many times at one of Charleston’s most iconic venues, the William Aiken House, but Megan and Joey’s wedding was our first ceremony capture there. With the gorgeous pergola, drapery, and spectacular backdrop of the ivy wall, it’s officially one of our favorite live paintings at William Aiken House. We went back and forth wight Megan and Joey trying to decide whether or not to capture the house in the backdrop of the painting and ultimately they decided on excluding the house. Honestly, we were thrilled with their decision because Ben had the opportunity to paint a new perspective. This beautiful couple, originally from New Orleans, chose Charleston as the location for their destination wedding – and the William Aiken House was the perfect setting for their sweet southern celebration. Peper Events coordinated their day beautifully and added such personal details, too! The couple’s photo-booth wall was one of our favorites that we’ve seen! Needless to say, we’re thrilled to unveil their finished live painting alongside the gorgeous photos from Marley Photography!
