It’s such a high compliment to be commissioned to capture each and every wedding day. And the highest of compliments when commissioning a “Keys” becomes a family tradition for each daughter’s wedding day. Brookes so enjoyed seeing Ben paint at her sister’s wedding that she loved the idea of having her own day captured. The best part was Brookes had the most creative idea for her painting … capturing their First Look! Such a lovely, intimate moment between the bride and groom – we loved this idea for a live painting! We coordinated with the photographers and Ben set up his easel at the First Look location under Poplar Grove Plantation’s iconic oak tree! After the first look, they joined the wedding party and walked over to begin the ceremony. A tented reception followed the ceremony, catered by the family’s very own catering company! Ben so enjoyed the evening and recognized many of the guests from Brookes’ sister’s wedding! What an absolute honor to be part of Brookes and Donnie’s wedding day: may this painting continue to steep with meaning year after year!
