Oh how we love The Merrimon-Wynne House!!! There’s nothing sweeter than a southern wedding held in a historic home! Grace and Matt chose The Merrimon-Wynne House as their venue, located in the heart of downtown Raleigh, NC. (As a graduate of NC State, I (Jen) LOVE any opportunity we have to return to Raleigh!) This venue was actually designed and modeled by wedding planners, who knew exactly what was necessary to host a great wedding. Needless to say, Ben was thrilled to capture their day with a live painting. For the backdrop of the painting, Grace and Matt decided to go with a styled First Look moment so that they could capture their favorite part of the venue: the architecture of The Merrimon-Wynne House! Architecture also happens to be one of Ben’s favorite subjects to paint. We love this sweet moment, just before the ceremony that they were able to see each other for the first time. Such an unforgettable day and we’re so excited to share their finished live painting!
