As a live wedding painter that’s also a native to Virginia, Nicole and Lyndon’s Virginia mountain wedding held at The Seclusion won our hearts. We knew it was going to be beautiful, but at first sight, The Seclusion quickly became one of our favorite Virginia wedding venues.
A live wedding painting from The Seclusion with a gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountain View
The property is perfectly … secluded! So intimate for a wedding. The Seclusion is a gem that’s tucked away with an unforgettable Blue Ridge Mountain ceremony view! It was no surprise that Nicole and Lyndon chose this incredible mountain view as the backdrop for their live wedding painting.
Our favorite detail from their wedding: the semi-circle ground florals at the altar
It’s always such a joy for Ben to paint a mountain landscape in a wedding painting. From a painting perspective, our favorite detail of their painting was beautiful semi-circle ground florals at their altar. They so beautifully surrounded them as they said their vows.
We will always love a ceremony arch or arbor for florals, but this semi circle design is actually brilliant for a mountain wedding with a view! Where a taller, floral arch or arbor would block some of the view, their semi-circle floral installation actually highlights the view even more! We are obsessed with the floral design that Ruffles & Rust Co created throughout their wedding!
The Live Wedding Painting Subject: the first kiss!
We love that Nicole and Lyndon chose their first kiss moment for their live wedding painting. The way Ben captured the moment, you can almost feel the crisp air and breeze blowing. It was the sweetest moment and so perfect for their painting!
Lastly but not least, it was an absolute joy to work alongside Julie Rupert Events! Their team was so great from arrival to the last dance! Every detail was beautifully designed and perfectly coordinated! We can’t wait to work with their team again for future Virginia wedding paintings!
It goes without saying, we are so excited to share their finished live painting from their Virginia wedding at The Seclusion! We can’t wait to return to this gorgeous Virginia Mountain wedding venue again in the future!
