Danielle & Mike’s St. Augustine Wedding at The Treasury on the Plaza
As a Live Wedding Painter, St. Augustine is one city that is so dear to our hearts! St. Augustine’s historic venue, the Treasury on the Plaza, is a centerpiece to the St. Augustine skyline view from the Intracoastal waterway. As a child, I (Jen) remember it so clearly from my grandparent’s house that was located just over the Bridge of Lions. Newly renovated, the Treasury on the Plaza serves as a glamorous wedding venue located in the heart of downtown St. Augustine. With deep family roots in St. Augustine, it goes without saying that I was over-the-moon excited when Danielle’s wedding planner called to request Ben’s availability for her big day!
With intricate Mediterranean Revival architecture, Danielle’s 1920s New Orleans themed reception vision was a perfect match. Her statement florals included feathers that complimented the venue’s grand columns. Prior to becoming a wedding venue, the Treasury served as St. Augustine’s landmark bank and the iconic vault from 1927 serves as a unique bar!
Needless to say, all of these details were inspirational as Ben captured the first dance in a live wedding painting. It is with absolute joy that we share their finished live wedding painting!
