When Katrina Hutchins, of Come+Together Events, gave us a call requesting a wedding date for her clients, I was so disappointed to break the news that our schedule was full. The next day, Katrina calls back and says, “Jen, my client, Patrick, will not take no for an answer – he has to have Ben as he insists on having the best!” The enthusiasm alone made it impossible to say no a second time, and we immediately began carving out time in the schedule for their wedding date. Patrick wanted the painting to be a surprise for his bride, Laure,n on the day of the wedding! And a perfect gift at that, as they were saying “I DO” in the art gallery at the Foundation for the Carolinas. On the day of the wedding, you could feel that every wedding decision, from the center pieces to the band, to the rooftop view … every wedding decision was rooted in this couple’s love for one another. Each detail was an expression of their love. Ben was thrilled to have the opportunity to capture Lauren and Patrick’s celebration on the rooftop of the Foundation for the Carolinas. This was an unforgettable event, and a couple that will forever be dear to us! We are so excited to share these photos taken by The Schultzes … who are such inspiring artists in the field of photography!
