Oh how we love a Gadsden House wedding in Charleston, SC! It’s one of our absolute favorite venues, located on the penninsula, downtown, that Ben has been so lucky to paint many, many times! McKenzie and Justin’s Charleston wedding was absolute perfection and completely definied all that makes weddings here so unforgettable!
As a Charleston Live Wedding Painter, sometimes the hardest part of our job is coaching couples through the scene or moment they want to have painted. And when I say hard part, it’s because truly, venues like The Gadsden House could be painted from every single corner and room of the property! It’s a good problem to have!
Ben absolutely loved capturing McKenzie and Justin’s first dance moment surrounded by friends and family around the dance floor. Ben was able to include the first level of The Gadsden House porch with the cotton candy sunset going over the palm trees! And we loved their light up sign with “The Baileys!” This courtyard is such a dream backdrop for a first dance, and a live wedding painting!
