We love surprises! Lindsay’s sweet mother surprised her and Alex with a live wedding painting on their big day! As Charleston locals, the couple chose the iconic low country landscape of Lowndes Grove Plantation as the backdrop for their wedding celebration. Needless to say, this view is always so inspirational for Ben to capture. The canopy of oak trees with the cotton candy sunset shining through over the water is always such a breathtaking view. Though we’ve had many weddings at this gorgeous venue, there’s not a single sunset that’s the same, making each painting unique! Lindsay and Alex chose Jacqueline of Sweetgrass Social to coordinate and design their wedding day. From the gorgeous floral arch to the ceremony floral pieces at the entryway, Ben loved capturing their vows. (Branch Design Studio created GORGEOUS floral arrangements, including a spectacular hanging floral chandelier under their tented reception. There were so many heartfelt details in every design decision, making this day a true celebration of their love uniting as one. We are thrilled to share images captured by Marni Rothschild of the details!! Yesterday we had the pleasure of meeting Lindsay and Alex at a local coffee shop to deliver their finished painting. Ben was so grateful to hear just how meaningful the painting is to them… and that they have already chosen a place for it over the mantel in their living room! Cheers to this incredible Charleston bride and groom – what a joy to celebrate their gorgeous wedding day.
