It’s such a joy to share Allie and Andrew’s finished live wedding painting! For over a year and a half we counted down to their Atlanta wedding day. And the best part: the live painting was a complete surprise! Allie’s mom commissioned Ben to capture their day before Allie had even selected their wedding venue … and the surprise was well worth the wait! Ben and I (Jen) will never forget the moment the surprise live painting was revealed. Just before the reception began and the party started, Allie and Andrew walked through the ballroom to take in the spectacular decor and beauty! As they walked around the ballroom, viewing the florals and the cake table, they made their way around to where Ben was set up painting. Allie could hardly believe the surprise and couldn’t believe it had been in the plans for so long! Over the last year of planning, Allie’s family has become so dear to us – making that moment even more special. The funniest part is that several times during planning, Allie would ask her mom, “So have you heard about the idea of live painter? Maybe we should look into that?!” We were so impressed they were able to keep the painting a secret! Needless to say, Ben was so inspired as he captured their first dance. Helene of Helene and Company coordinated and directed the wedding day in such an extraordinary way. She led the most epic ballroom flip between the ceremony and reception that we’ve ever seen. Bold American transformed the ballroom with some of the most innovative and luxurious floral arrangements that we’ve ever seen … and the installation took place in under ONE hour! The creativity and passion of the vendors alone was so inspiring to watch. Robin Nathan Photography captured the day and we can’t WAIT to share their images very soon!
