Neel and Priya’s live wedding painting was our first Jekyll Island wedding and we are so excited to share it with you! The Jekyll Island Convention Center was the backdrop for their celebration.
A Jekyll Island Wedding at the Convention Center has a stunning beach front view!
Deciding on the moment for their live wedding painting was actually quite easy! They landed on their ceremony with their Mandap overlooking the ocean front view. This amazing view with the beach and palm trees was actually the reason they decided on the Jekyll Island Convention center! (And that it could comfortably host their 400+ guest count!) So when we say Convention Center … we really mean convention center with a VIEW!
Rain or shine, Neel and Priya decided on the beach as the backdrop for their live wedding painting.
Spoiler: This ceremony moment actually happened INDOORS! Part of our planning for each outdoor wedding includes an in depth Creative Plan for the event of rain. So if our couples are faced with moving to their Rain Plan, we also have a plan for the painting and how that would impact the moment they want to have captured. Neel and Priya decided that rain or shine, they had their heart set on including the beach and palm trees in their live wedding painting.
And let us be the first to say, their ceremony space was already set up! Rain plans are never easy. Especially with a beachfront view that’s spectacular! It was heartbreaking to watch them move their stage and floral installation inside. But the truth is, it was the safest with a storm on the way.
We always say this is the beauty of a live wedding painting. Ben is able to capture the heart of the day, the feelings, the location … even if that moment didn’t happen in reality! The location is still this beautiful and so worthy of being the backdrop of a wedding painting! Needless to say, we were thrilled with their decision to move forward in having this breathtaking and unique beachfront view in their painting.
