The Gadsden House is one of our favorite wedding venues in downtown Charleston! Ben has been so lucky to paint here numerous times over the years. And each time, this venue is overflowing with inspiration!
There’s nothing like dining alfresco as the sun sets at The Gadsden House!
Ben absolutely loved creating Savanna and Nick’s live wedding painting. They chose their first dance as the subject of the painting. Being able to naturally capture family, the historic southern architecture, and Savanna’s gown were the most meaningful details for Ben to capture as they shared this sweet moment.

Having worked for a bridal designer, I (Jen) have always loved Ben’s attention to the gown’s details! And it’s a bonus when the bride’s gown is a statement like Savanna’s gown! We love that she chose such a fashion forward, unique wedding gown that was sweet and southern while also fresh and modern! Her gown was a perfect fit for a wedding at The Gadsden House!
