Mary & John’s Wedding at The Treasury on the Plaza in historic St. Augustine, Florida
Located in the heart of St. Augustine, Florida, The Treasury on the Plaza is forever one of my (Jen’s) favorite venues on the East Coast. A once historic bank … turned incredible wedding venue, it’s not only a gem of a venue, but holds sweet person meaning to us. My grandparents (and their parents!) actually BANKED there when I was growing up! The Treasury building also was makes up part of the beautiful skyline from across the Bridge of Lions. My grandparents had a home at the base of the bridge, making that view a super special one … especially during the holiday Nights of Lights!
Needless to say, Mary and John’s St. Augustine wedding at The Treasury on the Plaza was a special one! They were an absolute joy to plan and work with … and Ben loved creating this live wedding painting for the two of them! It’s always a joy to collaborate with the Lucy and her fabulous team at Coastal Celebrations. Every detail was perfect and coordinated seamlessly!
As a live wedding painter in St. Augustine, the first dance view inside The Treasury on the Plaza is just iconic to capture! Mary and John were so excited to incorporate the historic Vault … turned wedding bar! … in the backdrop of their live wedding painting! Ben included their family and friends circled around the ballroom as they shared their sweet first dance! Mary’s gown and veil were such a dream to paint!
